Meredith Diamond
Meredith slid into our inbox pretty frustrated. At that point, she had been trying to write her own copy for months. She said, “Everything I write I cringe at. I feel like I know what I want to say, but I just don’t know how to say it.”
She was changing everything about her business: the name, the branding, and the website. So obviously she needed new words to go with it. We were so excited to get the ideas out of her head an into her copy.
OUR FOCUS PHRASE FOR THIS PROJECT WAS
experience the joy
WHY WE CHOSE THAT PHRASE …
Meredith had such a clear idea of who she was and who she wanted to work with. She also knew exactly what she could offer: an experience that allows her clients to truly enjoy their day and revel in the joy of each moment. Oh, and of course photos to remember it all. She wanted copy that showed them they could trust her to capture who they were and the love they felt.

WHAT WE LOVED ABOUT THIS PROJECT
We loved how self-aware Meredith was. The line on her About page is perfect: “If quality basics were a person, it would be me.” She is consistent, reliable, and trustworthy. And classy, every time. Her work is a direct reflection of who she is so writing copy for her was as simple as getting to know her.
WHAT MEREDITH LOVED ABOUT WORKING WITH US
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“Working with Erika at Green Chair Stories was truly one of the best decisions I made for my brand. I am a photographer and I would say I’m more of a visual storyteller than I am a writer. So I knew after I spent months staring at a blank google doc, it was time to reach out to the pros. The GCS process was perfectly streamlined and unintimidating. Erika and I started simple by just getting to know each other. She asked genuine questions about who I was, got to know my personality, my voice and my vision for my brand. She then reached out to some of my clients to hear about their experience working with me and the way they viewed my brand. (I absolutely loved that part! Seeing my clients perception and my own aligned was very powerful.) Once the first draft of copy was complete I teared up reading it. It was always what I was trying to communicate but in a much more eloquent way. I am so proud of this copy. It feels like me. I’m so lucky I got to work with Erika and this team! My brand has benefited from it so much! Couldn’t recommend them enough!”
Also? It takes a village. This project came to life with the help of the ever-so-talented Kat Cosma who did all the branding and web design!
