This shoot was the London Show, all the way around. London is the little cutie in the photos below. She was cracking me up from the second I got to their house, showing me her purse and her shoes and telling me all the new words she had learned lately. To make her smile, her mom would make her say silly words throughout the shoot and I had trouble keeping my camera still because I was shaking from laughter.
London would shout “Rutabega!” and burst out in a wide grin. It was definitely better than people saying “cheese” and I might adopt this as my new standard for making toddlers giggle.
Carrie wanted some family photos and just a few “bump” pictures as well because her and Bryan and London are expecting a new family member next year! I felt very lucky to photograph London’s grandparents as well during this shoot. She and Baby Horn are so lucky to have them live literally just a few doors down from their house. I was so happy that Carrie included them in the shoot as it is such a special relationship and London will want to remember this time in her life!
The whole family was a bunch of troopers, braving a chilly evening. We chased the “gooses” and searched for pinecones and played on the playground and only made London sit still for small periods of time. She was a photo shoot champ by the end!
